Yay to it being Thursday, and I am remembering to blog! This post is about all things boys! I have had the pleasure to photograph 4 baby boys in the past month. The first one, baby Hudson was 2 months old, and he had the most beautiful eye lashes.
My sister-in-law had her 3rd baby boy the week before Christmas! so Christmas day we were able to fit in a mini-mini shoot before Turkey and presents. Big brothers Sam and Jack are so proud of little Ben.
I just love these little boy feet….
and how proud my sister in law is of her sweet baby boy!
The next 2 boys were born on the same day, and I photographed them on the same day. They are both so sweet and I love getting my new baby fix!
Baby boy Nathanael who was fast asleep on the kitchen table when I arrived…
This farm house had AMAZING kitchen floors. I just wish I could transport them to my studio!
At the end of the day Baby boy Fionn joined me in my studio… he was wide awake and so adorable!!
and AMAZING news! My good friend Kim {and Eric} welcomed their second boy into the family yesterday~Travis! who I hope to photograph next week!
I have to end this post of one of my own sweet boy. He turned 18 months this week. I had a shoot all planned out for him. Really wanted to get him over to the studio, but he has had a fever/teething/not feeling well, so I tried to capture some of his 18 month cute-ness while we were playing in the living room. I can’t even imagine where the time has gone. So I will leave you with these photos of my sweet Adam~18 months old!

Wow, its been a long time! So much has been happening in my personal life, and this blog has been neglected! One of my new years business resolutions is to *try and blog once a week. Today seems like a good day to start! So I am going to attempt to blog every Thursday morning, and hopefully I can keep it up!
I had the opportunity in the fall to photograph a local band {Atlantis Blueprint} I did a shoot for their up and coming CD release. I had come up with the idea of having a vintage living room in a field. My family endured the many drives around the country looking for the perfect tree! I needed a tree that I could hang “things” from, a nice old large tree, in the middle of a field. It wasn’t until I had the conversation with one of my bride’s fathers the morning of her wedding, when he said “I have a tree for you!” It turned out to be perfect. Below are a few of the photos from the shoot, which was awesome.
This is the band setting up in the field, with the McCabes (who own the land, and our awesome friends) watching. My husband had brought out a generator, and the guys gave us a mini concert in the field. We had people come through the fields that were out for a walk to listen. It was awesome!
Here are some of my favorite photos from the day. There are many more to share, once their CD has been released!
Here is the McCabe family with the band. Thank-you so much for allowing us to use your land, and all your help and support!
So now on to the new year!!! Atlantis Blueprint opened for Bedouin Sound Clash new years eve in Barrie, {and of course} we were there! Front row, camera in hand, +6 weather, slight drizzle, got on the news, good times!
I haven’t had a chance to proof all the images, but here is a little sneak peek! They were awesome!
I keep bugging my husband that the only time we go on a “date” is to hear these guys play! So I can’t wait for the next gig!
