I was so fortunate to be asked by Kathy and Jed to photograph their wedding. Kathy and I have in common many friends, as she works where I used to, and had she started a bit earlier, or I left a bit later we would have been co-workers, which I know would have been amazing to work along side of her.
Jed and Kathy had decided on an Engagement session at the Distillery District in Toronto. I had never been, and was oh so in love when I got there. What a great place, so full of character, and so many great spots to shoot! I can’t wait to photograph their wedding next summer! But for now, here are a few of the many images that we created that day!

I got together with C&D for their engagement session in downtown Barrie last weekend. I include engagement sessions with all of my wedding packages for many reasons, but it’s a great way to get to know the bride and groom while shooting before the wedding. I love that these two have been together for 10 years and I can’t wait to shoot their June wedding!!

Today we are in the middle of a “snow storm” here, and this seems like the right time to share some images that I took last weekend {again in the snow}! Kylie and Myles contacted me to photograph their September wedding. They decided they wanted winter engagement photos, and winter they got!! The morning of the session, it was grey and overcast, and on the drive to meet them it started snowing and blowing a lot! We decided to give it a try and figured the snow might be lighter in the sheltered bush of the Bruce Trail.
Myles proposed to Kylie back in October on the Bruce Trail, so they wanted to hike out to the bridge where they got engaged. It was such a beautiful hike, and great getting to know the two of them, and we did finally make it to their spot, and captured some amazing images full of snow!
